The Crossings
The Crossings Shopping Center was built in 1990, located east of Downtown Nashville, just north of Nashville International Airport. Rackley Roofing installed the shopping center’s original roof system, a .045 ballasted EPDM roof system, which performed well for more than two decades.
In 2012, Rackley Roofing was brought in by the shopping center’s owners to perform a reroof on a large section of the facility. We updated the 70,000-square-foot section of roofing to a .060 ballasted EPDM system from Firestone Building Products, and we were able to provide the client with a 20-year warranty from Firestone. Our team left the building site very confident that the new roof would outperform our original roof system, and we’re looking forward to upgrading this roof once again in a few decades’ time.
