Provide labor and technical knowledge during a roofing job.

  • Follow RRCI policies, processes and disciplines (Co manuals, Handbook)
  • Collaborate with RRCI employees to meet and exceed industry standards and processes
  • Complete the field tasks per the direction of Roofing Foreman
  • Abide by all Safety/Quality/Production requirements

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with Company Service Department to achieve company revenue, expense and profit goals
  • Estimate Preparation (New Construction) – Team with Company sales department to manage and recruit clients
  • Follow RRCI policies, processes and disciplines (Co manuals)
  • Collaborate with RRCI employees to meet and exceed industry standards and processes
  • Bid and project manage scopes of work for current and potential clients
  • Manage accounts assigned by company as well as accounts developed by project manager.
  • Sell scope of work proposals to meet and/or exceed department budget goal.
  • Review each job individually and insure information is provided in order for RRCI safety, quality and value guidelines are met, installed and followed
  • Perform accurate roof inspection/assessment field walks of customer’s buildings.
  • Use of company’s CRM and roof assessment software.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Estimate Preparation (Reroof) – Collect pertinent job information from on-site visits including but not limited to roof measurements, roof core information and overall roof condition, material staging, hoisting equipment setup, utilizing the RRCI standardized method.
  • Estimate Preparation (New Construction) – Review provided plans and specifications for clarity and intent.
  • Estimate Preparation (Common) – Compose and submit RFI’s (Request for Information) to designer/consultant/owner for clarifications on project specific information that is unclear at time of bid.
  • Estimate Preparation (Common) – Work closely with material and equipment vendors to obtain competitive pricing on purchased goods and rental equipment.
  • Actively review project variables in order to find the most competitive and customer centered roof system assembly.
  • Prepare estimates utilizing The EDGE estimating software.
  • Review estimate and supporting documentation with estimating department manager or senior estimator.
  • Prepare project specific proposal outlining such items as anticipated or predetermined staging and hoisting locations as well as roof installation details and general construction procedures.
  • Accompany assigned business development associate to proposal delivery.
  • Actively make follow up calls on outstanding/delivered proposals when no business development associate is assigned to project.
  • Once projects are obtained, complete the Project Information Packet (P.I.P.) and conduct handoff with assigned project manager.
  • Attend preconstruction meeting with operations department.
  • Assist in pricing change orders and other project specific tasks to help maximize project profitability.
  • Participate in continuing education, trade shows, seminars, publications to keep up with industry standards.
  • Monitor bid calendar on Dataforma daily to allow attention to upcoming schedule, and practice minimum 2 week look ahead
  • Facilitate communications between various depts. engaged in completing work
  • Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, govt requirements, etc.
  • Photocopies documents and plans, maintain project databases.

  • Work with Company Service Department to achieve company revenue, expense and profit goals
  • Team with Company sales department to manage and recruit clients

  • Assist the service manager in running the day to day activities of the service department. Specifically by overseeing the creation of T&M WOs, contacting customers and scheduling work as well as follow up after completion of the job.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to oversee all field operations for the Service Department.
  • Be the first line in Customer Service for the RRCI Company Service Department.
  • Coordinate with client to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Expert use of the company’s CRM.
  • Mentor service foreman, assessors and admin to the expectation of managing the Service Division productivity and profits
  • Responsible for training service department crew employees to company policies, their job responsibilities and inter-department communication and continuity
